Ежегодно в преддверии Дня России и Дня города на Доске Почета размещают фото сургутян, которые внесли особый вклад в развитие экономики, образования, культуры и спорта. Также там представляют организации и общественные объединения, значимые для города.

Перед официальным открытием Максим Слепов лично оценил выполненные работы. По его словам, экраны получились большими и яркими, изображение хорошо видно.

Среди новшеств — QR-код. Он будет вести на раздел портала администрации Сургута, где можно ознакомиться с дополнительной информацией о размещенных на Доске Почета людях и организациях.
