Сургут вновь станет площадкой для крупнейших соревнований по бильярдному спорту. С 1 по 12 июня в городе пройдут чемпионат России и чемпионат мира по «Свободной пирамиде», сообщили в администрации города.

Первым стартует чемпионат России. С 1 по 5 июня за победу будут бороться около 100 спортсменов из 30 региональных федераций, прошедших отборочные этапы. Лучшие игроки получат право выступить на чемпионате мира.

Мировое первенство состоится с 7 по 12 июня. Ожидается, что в Сургут приедут более 100 сильнейших бильярдистов из 20 стран. В числе участников – спортсмены из Франции, Германии, Индии, Кении, Испании, Сербии, Словакии и других государств.

Чемпионат России и чемпионат мира по «Свободной пирамиде» проходят в Сургуте регулярно с 2022 года при поддержке компании «Газпром трансгаз Сургут».

«Сургут готов принять эти представительные соревнования. Они пользуются большой популярностью среди любителей данного вида спорта. В том числе благодаря этим рейтинговым турнирам количество людей, вовлеченных в спорт, увеличивается с каждым годом. Мы постарались учесть пожелания и опыт прошлых лет и организовали все так, чтобы спортсменам, гостям, судьям и зрителям было максимально комфортно», – отметил генеральный директор ООО «Газпром трансгаз Сургут», президент Федерации бильярдного спорта Югры Олег Ваховский.

Соревнования пройдут в спортивном комплексе «Премьер-Арена» на улице Быстринской, 18/4. Вход для зрителей будет свободным.
